Vacations are always something to look forward to. A vacation be it “mini”, “midi” or “maxi” is always a production for me. I get so determined and creative about what to wear and how to wear it and then down the line, get anxious and frustrated if they do not turn out the way I want. Took me a looong time to get over myself and really enjoy the simplicity of vacation fashion (talk for another day)😉.
Now to the real gist.. Bikini days are so much fun!!
It’s safe to say that we are all aware of this hashtag #effyourbeautystandards. This hashtag has created so much debacle yet it is a true representation of how we all feel at some point in our lives, me included. Keyboard ninjas have been against thick, plus size women or any woman that doesn’t “look right” in bikinis. Thus, for a long time, I had been insecure about my look, how good or bad I would look in a swimsuit. Lets just say these bikinis from asos did me good. Its high waisted (which I love) and also so colorful it reminds me of candy which, gave me the boost of confidence I honestly needed.
By the way Queens, what do you think about girls who say they will never be caught dead wearing a bra outside but do not mind sporting a bikini. I am curious…
